Artist statement
The radiant chandelier symbolizes enlightenment and joy, illuminating the scene. Imposing arches are swathed in spirited brushstrokes, creating a dance of color and light, while gentle drips and bold textures convey the artwork's raw energy. The texture of the painting can only really be understood through touch - it is mesmerizing through it's thickness and presence.
I embraced expressionist gestures and applied the oil paint directly from the tube to achieve figuration that captures vibrancy and elegance.
This piece promises to infuse any space with exuberance and a zest for life.
