Artist statement
The artist painted this canvas with the autumn feeling in his heart. Just looking at the plants and bushes of the landscape of his youth - all but completely dead. Much of this canvas was just intuition and a lot of color with the determination to work with a limited color-range using only orange/yellow and brown hues.
The texture of the color is very thick and it is painted with a lot of energy, letting the color stick and traverse multiple layers.
The base layer of the canvas was orange and the artist chose to let it appear through the shapes so that it radiates the autumn sunset color onto the whole canvas.
