Artist statement
This piece has been worked through months. It started with an intriguing bleak landscape confined in a circle as in a crystal ball. Then the white dots appeared, like snow drops, like a sign of delightful hope... Then the gorgeous golden marks, like a sign of depth and richness but with this message of decay. Original ink drawing on 250 gsm acid free, light brown paper.
