Artist statement
[arenas] aims to be the most subtle and minimalist series of its author. Working on the singularity of minimal perception in relation to Marcel Duchamp's infralight concept,which refers to the beauty of the unnoticed. Focused on the manifest grandeur of extreme tenuity, Elisa seeks to highlight the beauty of the unnoticed, such as the subtle shine of a sand crystal or the color created by the accumulation of dust, but also of the absent presence revealed by the history of the cracks and breaks in the painting.
