Gathering Dust (Ribbons) engages in the act of making, re-making and reassembling elements, emphasising their rich histories, sentiment and potential for transformation.
Revelling in the gesture and intention of each stitch I explore the aesthetics of abstraction; elevating the materials and seeking to take abstraction to its conclusion – the abstraction of materiality.
