About the art
Artist statement
With this painting I was selected as a finalist artist of a rigorous selection at ART Taipei competition in 2018. I was attempting at that time to penetrate my emotional world. To start a long journey in life where I realised I should be preparing myself to expect something that is unexpected to fill my soul and my body . We are not used to think out of the box, feel the freedom that there are no limits to our beings. We tend to like what we know. Yet there is one binding point between what we know and what we don't know and that is love. Allowing the colours and the paint to flow by manipulating it here and there I felt the freedom to accept the promise of the unexpected light the way it wanted to go. Driven by what is out of reach but believing that anyone including myself can get there
