Artist statement
I always felt that the water has this magic power to wash off stress and anxieties, to help us meditate and it has the power to bring to memory even the first salty kiss. The sound of running water has soothing and calming effects to our souls and it is no wonder that fountains have existed for thousands of years. For me the procedure of painting is meditative and can help me handle my own uncertainties and insecurities of life. It also brought memories of these first salty kisses.
