Artist statement
Emma Anna’s Flower Mandalas are a series of large scale collages composed from photographs of exotic and tropical flowers and reflect the artist’s interest in the natural world.
Through vivid colour, texture and mirrored forms, these works evoke a rich sensuality. They speak of fertility and abundance. Enlarged in scale, the flower mandalas invite meditative contemplation. They act like portals into an alluring and secret garden, one that is accessed through the stimulation of the mind, and the imagination.
All prints include a 2.5cm white border edge and Certificate of Authenticity signed and numbered by Emma Anna.
