Sphericity_211 is an abstract artwork contrasting expressive sumi-ink painting with strong line work and geometric shapes (circles). Taking reference in the Japanese sumi-e, constructivism/Russian avantgarde painting styles, it reinterprets these styles in a novel, contemporary manner.
