Artist statement
Square_231 is an ink, fineliner and marker drawing combining fine line work with square shapes to create an abstract, balanced composition. Inspired by Bauhaus artists and constructivism, it contrasts the fluid background made with highly diluted ink with the strong geometric shapes and almost architecture-like drawn lines in the foreground.
