About the art
Artist statement
This artwork is an emotional exploration of the colour blue with a hint of magenta and a couple of other secondary colour. The way blue dominates and goes from light blue to navy also is contemplative and emotionally stated. The work is in the style of abstract expressionism.
This artwork is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions 225 cm in width by 105 cm in height. The painting wraps around the sides of the stretcher, so the sides are painted in the same style as the surface. As such it does not need a frame.
NOTE: Due to the size the painting has been removed from the stretcher and will ship rolled-up. The Collector will need to have the artwork remounted.
The artwork was created on the 19th Day of April 2023.
A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
