Artist statement
This artwork is about the rebirth of the colour pink. Often pink is seen as not an appealing colour by some while loved by others, I am issuing a renaissance with pink. The work is in the style of abstract expressionism.
This artwork is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions 224 cm in width by 100 cm in height. The painting wraps around the sides of the stretcher, so the sides are painted in the same style as the surface. As such it does not need a frame.
Although the painting has been removed from the stretcher and is shipped rolled up to avoid expensive shipping fees. The collector will need to have it remounted at their local framing store.
The artwork was created on the 13th day of January 2023.
A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
