About the art
Artist statement
Searching for Perpetuity, is about finding longevity and long life, something I pray for, both for my loved ones and myself. But it is more than just the desire to live longer, it is about leaving something of one's self behind, either in the eyes of your children or something you do. I hope my art is my Searching for Perpetuity, The work is in the style of abstract expressionism.
This artwork is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions 200 cm in width by 170 cm in height. The painting is painted in the same manner as the surface on the sides, giving a colour wrap.
The artwork was created in September 2024.
