Artist statement
This is an abstract painting that uses all the pure colors of the color wheel. I chose these colors because I wanted the painting to represent all the colors that we see in nature as the seasons progress. I used simple shapes to represent patches of color and arranged them in a cluster of brilliant color evoking our pleasure in the sight of nature displaying it's coat of many colors.
