Artist statement
The old window seems to open the door to memories of a carefree childhood. The old window has openwork bars, they are very unusual and are different on each window.
The paint on the frame is slightly peeling from time to time, but this only gives it a special charm. In the sunlight, the glass shimmers with a gentle shine, reflecting the green of the trees and the blue of the sky. This window seems to breathe stories, telling about the warm grandmother’s house, the smell of fresh bread and the rustle of curtains that flutter in a light breeze...
