This floral bouquet is the type of sumptuous ones that we find in the french historical castles and houses. For me, this kind of bouquet symbolizes an aesthetic quality of the French elegance. It comes from old historical nobility in Europe. It shows history still visible, for instance, in all these numerous castles existing in the Loire valley, in my country: France.
Muted colors are the exact opposite of vibrant tones: matte aspect, discretion, depth. They give a special harmony and elegant simplicity to the soothing mood of this floral painting. Desaturated colors and pastel tones perfectly fit a discreet, soft and elegant ambience: the "french chic". A touch of romanticism is given by dark and desaturated pastels tones. Matte, depth, discreet, neutral colors give a soft contemporary feeling of the past: timeless style.
A tribute to the "French chic" aesthetic, with a timeless style, it will be perfectly displayed in an oversized baroque frame, white ceruse, or gold patina, or even matt black, with a large Marie-Louise. The work will be delivered unframed, signed on the front and back.
