Cities and their share of mystery. An almost mystical inspiration permeates this series of cityscapes. The artist provokes dystopian emotions, through the use of certain colours, shapes, pictorial writings.

Here, the artificial light of the cities, at night, interpreted in assumed yellow and green. A city, a capital, perhaps. A nocturnal urban landscape with diffuse glows and shapes. Night in the middle of the day. In the lower part of the work, perhaps a river, carrying dark waters. Buildings like ghosts. An atmospheric, unreal painting of this human materiality which becomes impalpable...

This work is made with thin layers of acrylic and nervous graphics in wax pastels.
