The eternal human fascination for what is far away, over there, beyond. Going towards the horizon, a chimerical dream.
Texture, opacity and transparency for this abstract landscape with a calm yellow sky, over the countryside a wide large range of browns and greens. The painting has a great richness of textures and glazes. The land area has a depth due to the many layers of transparent colours.
This modern and expressive painting on paper, which speaks to us of nature, horizon, earth, dreams, imagination, hope, is made of thick layers of material, tangible, textured, covered with glazes and vellum. The colours are bright.
