About the art
Artist statement
"Mimosa in bloom", oil painting on stretched canvas, 60X73 cm.
This painting, between abstraction and impressionism, is a poetic evocation of flowering mimosa in the garden, in spring.
This artwork is made with brushes and a palette knife.
The blooming tree is just evoked, in a spontaneous way, rendered by juxtapositions of thick touches of transparent greens and opaque yellows, in front of the opaque light ultramarine blue of the sky. The style is modern, impressionistic. A lot of glazes, transparent layers of paint, give depth to the colors.
The main colors of this floral abstraction are green, yellow and blue.
This is a one of a kind painting, signed on the front.
The artwork is ready to hang.
This modern artwork will be delivered with an invoice and a signed certificate of authenticity.
Shipping carefully packed and tracked.
