"The roses of the Aegean Sea", oil painting on stretched canvas, 54X81 cm
A contemporary expressive oil painting of yellow gold brown roses, in front of the Aegean blue sea.
This painting is an evocation of the Minoan greece. The roses are painted with a palette knife, in gestural shades of yellowish golden brown. They look like metal, or sculptures in front of the sea. The water of the sea is soft, with fades of oil, in these blue-green color characteristic of the marine element of this region of the world.
The painting is signed on the front and on the back.
Edges are painted : painting continue on the edges. You can hang it without a frame.
