"The yellow trees", acrylic and wax pastels on canvas, 50X100 cm.
A gentle atmosphere for this mixed media painting where the trees are just yellow silhouettes, in peaceful harmony with transparent reds, light turquoises and delicate highlights of mauves made with wax pastels. A band of transparent light turquoise, like those mist cloths that bathe the countryside on beautiful, luminous winter mornings, underlines a soft, calm, flamboyant and serene landscape, where the shapes blend into the evocation of a peaceful dreamlike nature.
Mixed technique on canvas: acrylic and wax pastels.
