Artist statement
A sleek and minimalist sculpture, consisting of two different types of stone: bluestone and marble. Handcarved in structure with the pointed chisel.
I like basic, simple shapes. But there must be something to do for the eye. In this sculpture, your gaze is drawn directly to the small view on one side, and to the inner space on the other.
To put it at good eye level, I added a metal base (open and slightly sloping). This one is not in the pictures.
