About the art
Artist statement
Quite a large sculpture, consisting of five parts. It is reminiscent of stepping stones in a garden. Only this time the stones themselves go out.
Two parts are made of marble, two of bluestone and one of Anröchter grünstein. The bottom is carved into structure with the pointed chisel. The top part of each stone has a smooth finish.
The great thing about a composite sculpture is that you can play with it and put it down in all kinds of ways. But that can sometimes also be a disadvantage, because what is the best? This often depends on the place where it will be placed. In any case, you need quite some space for this sculpture.
The sculpture can be outdoors, but the marble will not remain as clean and white in the long run.
The dimensions vary: a maximum of 25 x 25 x 35 cm per part.
