About the art
Artist statement
This red and black abstract painting is inspired by Venice, the walls of its buildings, the fiery colors of Titian masterpieces. And this idea of the rising of a phoenix, something that gives me hope and drive.
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size unframed: 39.4x39.4x0.1" (100x100x0.3cm) on aluminum Dibond panel.
Size framed: 103x103x3.5 cm
