About the art
Artist statement
'Seeking the good' is a richly textured black, white and blue mixed media collage artwork. Its complex surface, with small stones and cotton gauze, creates reliefs, shadows, and points of light that keep changing during the day. Its colours and composition represent my hope for better times, in which we will feel safer and stronger in front of the obstacles that we are facing.
The original artwork on canvassed board is made with acrylic colors, gels and gesso, stones, sand.
Size (framed): 47.1 x 37 x 1.4 cm.
The artwork has a black cardboard mount and black frame (as shown in one of the pictures in the carousel).
Being this artwork heavily textured, it gives the viewer a visual and a rich tactile experience.
Reworked and finalised in 2021.
It's signed on the back by the author and ready to hang.
