Artist statement
This abstract painting exaggerated the morphed petals under microscopic lens.
This is one of the mixed-media painting in the Hypermorph Garden 2.0 project, supported by CENDANA Malaysia . The project promotes collaboration between non-traditional materials and traditional materials in mixed-media painting. I initiated this project by up-cycling fabric waste and yarn ends from collective fabric landfills in China and India, to create a new media for paintings.
