Artist statement
Enduring love III, from the Intelligence of feeling series is the Artists emotional and abstracted intuitive response to her recent and many past trips to Dartmoor in the South West UK where she lives: the wide open space and the wild beauty.
This painting series, whilst drawing on scape, is primarily defined by emotion and feeling. The Artist continues to explore the balance of spontaneity and considered control during the painting process, whilst remembering and considering absence, time, distance, vulnerability, loss and the notion of sometimes feeling lost..... the human condition.
Signed and dated on the side of the canvas the painting is ready to hang.
The canvas is deep edged 4.4cm which shows small signs of the working process to the canvas edge.
