The Artist felt the title was totally appropriate for the painting which was created in July 2021, fused with worry about the future, ageing, climate change, world conflict, the continuation of the Pandemic in contrast with the everyday mundane chores we all have to deal with. The major and the minor chords in our lives...


This series, whilst drawing on scape, is primarily defined by emotion and feeling. Parr continues to explore the balance of spontaneity and controlled intention during the painting process, whilst remembering and considering absence, time, distance, vulnerability, difficulty, loss and the notion of sometimes feeling lost..... the human condition.

The diptych paintings can bolt together but will be sent unbolted ( bolts included ) Signed on the left canvas side.
