This is an "Epifragma (Epiphragm)" artwork.
A lid, a shell with an imaginary creature that lives inside it.
This is a piece from the "Metamorfosi del volo (Metamorphosis of flight)" series: creatures that wern't born to fly, transform their body into an asymmetrical wing. They will never be able to fly, but that doesn't matter because sometimes there is no difference between falling and flying.
