Story:
Was participating a postal meeting in Bern. During the weekend I decided to visit again Grindelwald. Saturday 6AM I was at the train station and by 8:30AM taking the lift towards Pfingstegg, where the trails start towards the Eiger glacier. At the beginning had a good trekking pace, until an elderly couple passed me, which showed how poor were my physical conditions at that time.
Before it would be late decided to return, as my lodge was at the bottom of the mountain, followed a trail towards this direction instead of taking the lift. However, it had a very steep slope which affected my knees, the last kilometer was a nightmare, the pain increased as I went down. On the trail found this small waterfall, where I was able to rest for a while and capture various images. Recovering strengths, continued finally arriving to the lodge, where I emptied 2 large beer mugs.
