Story:
12 years ago, I asked my cousin to visit his summer house in Amatlán near Mexico City. Having been in the area before, I knew there was a small waterfall where I could take photographs. We set off in the morning along a trail, but the weather had a significant impact on our journey. Upon reaching the waterfall named “Ce Acatl Topiltzin Quetzalcoatl,” we found it completely dry since the rainy season had not yet begun.
Nearby, there was a small pond with very little water. I noticed fallen flowers from an overhanging tree floating on its surface. I captured a few images of this scene, which turned out to be my favorites.
