Story:
In 1985, after receiving my Rollei 6006, my friend Javier and I set out on an expedition to the Ulla Ulla Reserve, situated north of La Paz City. The journey took us the entire day, winding around the East shore of Lake Titikaka. We passed through small towns bustling with festive music and dancers, which delayed our trip as Javier eagerly captured the vibrant scenes for a forthcoming book.
By 10 PM, after navigating a rugged dirt road, we reached a viewpoint where the moonlight bathed the Apolobamba mountain range in a serene glow. We finally arrived at the reserve a few hours later, under the canopy of night.
The next morning, after packing up our tents and gear, I ventured out and stumbled upon a small stream that caught my eye. The tranquility of the creek in the early light inspired me to capture its beauty with my camera.
