Artist statement
Everyone pursues happiness. And we all have different definitions for it. Happiness comes from inner peace rather than extreme joy. Whether people like rain or not, they have a tendency to feel calm by listening to the sounds of rain. In my series of rain paintings, I do one painting every rainy day. I focus on delivering peacefulness by capturing the amount of rain, humidity, atmosphere, and emotion of the day.
