Artist statement
Since 2010, Guem has worked on video-sculpture where a real space is turned into sculpture and video images projected in the space are captured in the monitor. She creates a sculptural work with architectural elements such as the wall, floor and door of a space and installs monitors that show videos visualizing psychological experience or emotion about the space as part of the sculpture, creating a whole new space where the sculpture and the video are incorporated.
