Sections of handmade silk damask wallpaper from the magnificent Château de Chambord in the Loire Valley, France. On close inspection, the larger section to the left appears to have been hung incorrectly—back to front—an amusing “faux pas.” However, since damask is a reversible fabric, this unconventional approach showcases a highly imaginative use of its design.
