Description: For a once in a lifetime, bucket list topping getaway, consider the Maldives. Nestled in the Indian Ocean, far from civilization yet enveloped by luxury and breathtaking tropical beauty, you’re guaranteed to find the serenity you’ve been searching for. While walking along the shores of Baros, I found this woman standing ankle deep in water, gazing out over the Indian Ocean. The cleansing smell of the ocean filled the air and the rhythmic sounds of the waves only added to the beauty of the moment. Not wanting to disturb her meditation, I took a quick snap from behind and moved along. I can only hope my photo somehow captured a hint of the calmness and serenity she seemed to experience that morning in the Maldives.
