Artist statement
How could a cornflower, which usually grows in a field among ears of grain, and an iguana, a small dragon of the tropical forests, meet? However, their meeting is symbolic.
Cornflower is a piece of the sky itself. Its blue color is a sign of love and gratitude to the earth of heavenly heights.
And in the tropics, even the air is humid and still. The woven crowns hide the sun. The dark bark of trees in the tropics makes it even darker. He who is born in the twilight should not fly, he does not need the sky! But what if you are an ordinary lizard, and the dream of flight lives in your heart? Just believe in your dream. Believe in spite of and in spite of everything.
And a miracle will definitely happen if you don’t lose hope. And the little dragon will find his little sky.
