Artist statement
The forest has always been a space of human otherness. Our fears and attempts to escape from civilization in order to understand ourselves are associated with it. The path attracts us, demanding: go! It invites us into a dream, into the space between worlds. The forest is full of secrets and mysteries, but, making the first step into the forest, we don’t know what the path will be.
The tart smell of the forest, the interlacing of the trunks of giant trees, the thick fog - and now we are at a loss as to who we are in this mystical round dance, why are we here?
But the good thing about sleep is that you can wake up. However, once you discover the secret of the forest, will you be the same?
