Artist statement
İyem lays out a world as it is hard to find. While the new world is becoming more densely populated, not less; more urbanized, not less; more technological, not less, hers is getting more fragile - not less . Most important of all, NoMan's Land series are exerting ever more — not less — power in nature, having a fan-based impact on ecosystems thinking among her circles. This is her world, yet this is our work.
