About the art
Artist statement
It is by painting that emotions arise, in contact with textures, brush movements, transparencies. Painting then becomes a living and inspiring material that expresses itself in an intimate relationship with the artist. Inès' works project us into universes inspired by nature (floral, mineral, aquatic) that she appropriates with her own visual codes. She expresses it intuitively, leaving the mind open to all possible forms of expression and interpretation.
