Artist statement
By cutting off a mass from the base of melted glass in symmetrical fashion, pyramid suddenly stands on a newly created thin edges.
Also, by cutting, second point is created in the rest of the pyramid, projecting itself into the ground.
Contrast between the original full mass and the new cut out pyramid is enhanced by polished and matt surfaces.
