Artist statement
This intriguing, somewhat surreal painting of a soap bobble is an expression of the encouragement to observe the surrounding world with greater attentiveness and curiosity. The closer we look, the more abstract the world gets and the more depth we find in what is seemingly superficially well-known.
This painting is also about deepened joy, about the experiential touch of childlike qualities within oneself that, when touched in their ephemeral state of concentration, sweeten the passing moments.
