Artist statement
"Love Affairs" is a series of drawings on two layers of thin, translucent paper resembling ice. Each layer features curvy line drawings that flow freely from edge to edge as if traced by a figure skater. When the layers are combined, they create a new visual form, symbolizing a loving unity where one plus one is more than two, akin to a perfect love affair. The pink hue of the artwork evokes the tenderness and breath of love.
