Artist statement
The work has a square format and has a white line painted on the edge that increases the contrast with the black of the painting and gives it a form element that circumscribes the composition.
This work belongs to a new series of abstract works, here there are two color elements, black and copper, which is a metallic color, which has a slight sheen. There is a composition with inverted bicolor diamonds that delimit two different areas with black and copper. The diamonds invade half of its figure to the opposite area and thus the black side penetrates the copper and the copper side the black. Making a game of opposites and contraries. In the central part is the metallic copper color that is very well worked seeking to create a nebulous atmosphere and above and below there are some black stripes.
