About the art
Artist statement
This work is of an abstract style, I wanted to break with the figurative and explore more the matter and the plasticity of painting. And I began to investigate preparing the canvas with a dark background and loaded with gesso adding a bit of material and then I began to mix the colors and create textures with tonalities until I saw that the work was advancing alone with lights and shadows and little by little it created this painting that reminds me of a storm.
