Artist statement
The painting belongs to the series of "ribbons" to which I return from time to time. I depict the ribbons seen in perspective, imitating various materials from which they are made. There were already tin ribbons, fabric ribbons, paper ribbons, and in this case the material I express in the painted object is glass.
