About the art
Artist statement
This oil represents the magnificent hilltop village of Eze overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The different blue tones of the sky and the sea contrast harmoniously with the houses of the village and the green of the vegetation. It was painted in successive glazes on a linen canvas in the last months of 2020. Two watercolors made in-situ served as studies to realise it..
This oil painting comes framed and ready to hang.
Dimensions with the frame: 44x52x 4 cm. Dimensions without the frame: 38x46x2 cm.
