About the art
Artist statement
This oil painting shows the reflections of traditional fishing boats in the water. You can just get a glimpse of their hulls in the top part. But the main interest lies in their reflections and their semi-abstract treatment. It's making in successive transparent layers (6 to 10 according to the opacity of the piments) gives it a lot of luminosity. Its is sold framed with a box but is also available without a frame (but ready to hang) on request.
