Artist statement
In this work, I triedt to capture the semi-abstract reflections of pointus, old traditional fishing boats, in the port of Sanary sur mer. By focusing on shapes and colors, I simplified these reflections in order to keep only the essentials. It is an invitation to contemplation, a hymn to tranquility, but also a vibrant dialogue between nature and abstraction. This oil painting on linen canvas is framed and ready to hang. Dimensions with the frame: 46x46x3.5 cm Dimensions without the frame: 40x40x2 cm
