Artist statement
This oil painting conveys the atmosphere of the lovely village of 'Magné ' in the West of France. Painted in an impressionist way the focus has been put on the contrast between light and shade and on the reflections in the water. Painted in three days in-situ, it received an award in an international open air painting competition ( Festival International de Peinture de Magné). Framed with a wooden floating frame, it is ready to hang. Size with the frame : 61x52x2 cm Size without the frame:55x46x2 cm
